Correas.

It is certainly a quiet time at the moment for obvious reasons, this site has also been quiet for a few weeks, but a need to photograph some of the flowering seedling correas in the garden gave the impetus for the following. The seedlings are all hybrids, with forms of reflexa, decumbens, and glabra in the parentage, with Dusky Bells also seen in one.  Colour, flower shape, and foliage all differ and are illustrated in the photographs. They are all hardy and drought resistant, and a great food resource for honeyeaters, Eastern Spinebills and New Hollands are busy at the moment. There are many Red Wattlebirds about but they are confining their activities to the flowering Yellow Gums.
